Work has commenced on improving Tasmania’s state road network under the $100 million Freight Capacity Upgrade Program.
This program aims to increase the freight capacity of critical and regional freight routes throughout Tasmania by strengthening or replacing various bridges and improving sections of roads, ultimately increasing the productivity of the state’s freight as well as increasing road safety and job opportunities.
