Port Botany Increases Empty Container Capacity

The development of a new empty container park, the first of several projects in the pipeline, will be built with a 6000 TEU capacity.

Other projects in the pipeline, which include consolidation of e-depot sites, removal of warehouses and site access enhancements, aim to culminate in an increased empty container storage capacity of more than 16,500 TEU.

In addition, the NSW Government has granted planning approval for increased empty container stacking heights, which will deliver additional storage capacity.
