MUA Continues Industrial Action Against DP World

Despite ongoing negotiations and the DP World cyber security incident, the the Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) has chosen to continue further industrial action against DP World until the 18th of November, with increased speculation that this period will extend further into November.

This wave of industrial action impacting DP World terminals is outlined below:

SYDNEY

  • Daily 1-hour work stoppages at 0500, 1300 and 2100
  • 24-hour bans on loading/unloading trucks and trains commencing 0600 on the 14th and 16th of November
  • 24-hour work stoppage from 6am 17th November

MELBOURNE

  • Daily 2-hour work stoppages at 0400, 1200 and 2000 each day
  • 48-hour ban on loading / unloading trucks & trains from 0600 16th November

BRISBANE

  • Daily 2-hour work stoppages at 0500, 1300 and 2100
  • 48-hour ban on loading / unloading trucks & trains (old yard) from 0700 16th November

FREMANTLE

  • 24-hour bans on loading/unloading trucks and trains commencing 0600 14th and 16th November
