Global Schedule Reliability Improving

According to shipping analyst, Sea-Intelligence, global schedule reliability is demonstrating a vast improvement. In the most recent performance report, statistics show an improvement increase of 7.7% per month, reaching a reliability of 60.2%. Global reliability was 26% higher in February 2023 than in February 2022.

In addition, the average delay for late vessel arrivals decreased by 0.07 days to 5.29 days, indicating that the average delay is now closer to 2019 levels than the peaks of 2021-2022.

Across this landscape, all of the top 14 carriers recorded monthly improvements in schedule reliability. This includes carriers such as Maersk, Hamburg Süd, PIL, CMA CGM, HMM, Evergreen, Hapag-Lloyd, Wan Hai, COSCO, ONE, OOCL, Yan Ming and Zim.
