First signs of a deal emerge in long-running German port dispute

Germany’s United Services Union (ver.di) has recommended its members accept the latest offer from port employers in a long-running wage dispute that has regularly disrupted port operations at Hamburg, Bremen, Bremerhaven, Wilhelmshaven, Emden and Brake.

A final decision regarding the acceptance of the offer will be made on the 27th of September. We will update you of the developments in the next issue of our newsletter.
