15 Dec CBAFF To Roll Out Air Cargo Security Tool in New Zealand
The Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Federation of New Zealand (CBAFF) is on the cusp of launching a new tool designed to enhance air cargo compliance and security.
Developed by CBAFF, aviation industry software platform OneReg and biosecurity system experts Independent Verification Services, AirCertify NZ aims to help regulated air cargo agents manage known customers digitally and more efficiently.
Motivated by changes to civil aviation regulatory requirements around air cargo transportation, CBAFF identified a need for a robust scheme that could stand up to international scrutiny and ensure the sector is delivering to a high standard.
AirCertify NZ will standardise forms and procedures, achieving consistency across all freight forwarders and relevant parties, and will put an independent party in to verify that clients are operating to high airport security standards. Currently in testing phase, we will keep you up-to-date when AirCertify NZ launches!
