16 Dec Fee Increases To Commence 1 January 2026
DP World, Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT), and state road authorities have announced upcoming fee increases which will be effective as of the 1st of January 2026. These will impact a range of terminal access, landside-related and transport costs across Australia.
The revised fee charges include:
- Landside and Ancillary Charge Changes
DP World has issued a 60-day notice advising that Australian terminals will implement revised landside and ancillary charges from 1 January 2026 across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle. - Landside Tariff Review
Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) has issued a 60-day notice confirming revised landside tariffs from 1 January 2026. These will apply to areas such as: vehicle booking system (VBS) and terminal access charges, late receival processes and maritime security levy. - Melbourne M1 Toll Increases
Tolls on Melbourne’s M1 corridor will increase in line with annual updates announced by Transurban, raising the cost of container transport on Port of Melbourne’s key routes.
