15 Aug Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) Seasonal Measures

As of the 1st of September and until 30 April 2026 (inclusive), BMSB seasonal measures will apply to targeted goods manufactured in or shipped from target risk countries between these dates and to vessels that berth, load, or tranship from target risk countries within the same period.

This BMSB season sees the addition of The Republic of Korea and Japan added to the emerging risk countries. It will also see target high risk goods arriving as airfreight from the USA and China subject to random inspections, however no treatment will be required.

Other changes include a new offshore treatment Ethyl Formate, and a new application process for the BMSB in-transit and rolled policy.
